We wanna go outdoor and have fun the day before orientation.
I got on the Internet and found out there was an interesting activity called "walks in the woods" at Frick Park at 6:30 PM. 艾and I took bus 71A, transited 74A and walked 20 mins to the Frick Environmental Center.
Wow!! That is a huge park and there is a place reserved for woods. We looked forward to attend the activity. More and more people came to the center and waited for a person who is in charge of this activity.
But 20 mins past, the man didn't show up. 10 People from different places started to talk to each, tried to figure out what's happened and wondered whether there was no show today.
Finally we 10 people decided to go hiking by ourselves! We had a volunteer guide who knows this park very well introduced history of Frick Park and different plants to the rest people, while we were walking along the trail.
This park is somehow like a forest. I like it so much. It's located beside Squirrel Hill; it's easy to get there. I feel good to know this place, just like you work hard during the day time and could easily find a nature place to walk for a while and relax. How nice it is!
Another surprise was we saw lighting bugs when we were waiting for bus to go home. They just flew on the sidewalk and laws.
Definitely I will come here again:)
